NovaPDF Reader is developed and published by Linuxx task. This Privacy Policy explains how our app handles user information when you use NovaPDF Reader.

1. Information We Collect

NovaPDF Reader is designed to help users open, read, manage, and work with PDF files on their device.

We do not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information to use the app.

The app may access files selected by the user only for the purpose of opening, viewing, editing, merging, converting, sharing, printing, or managing PDF documents. These files remain on the user’s device unless the user chooses to share or export them.

2. File Access and Document Handling

NovaPDF Reader may request file or storage access permission depending on the Android version and the features used.

This access is used only to:

  • Open PDF documents selected by the user
  • Display PDF files inside the app
  • Save edited or exported PDF files
  • Merge, compress, convert, or manage PDF documents
  • Share or print files when requested by the user

We do not upload, sell, or share the user’s PDF files or documents.

3. Personal Data

NovaPDF Reader does not intentionally collect personal data such as name, phone number, address, identity documents, financial information, or private messages.

Any personal information contained inside PDF files remains under the user’s control and is processed locally on the user’s device.

4. Third-Party Services

NovaPDF Reader may use standard Android system features such as file picker, share sheet, printing service, and app rating links.

If the user chooses to share a file using another app or service, the privacy policy of that external app or service will apply.

5. App Permissions

NovaPDF Reader may request permissions such as file access or storage access where required. These permissions are used only to provide PDF reading and document management features.

The app does not use permissions for hidden tracking or unrelated purposes.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.

We do not share user documents with third parties unless the user manually chooses to share a document through the Android share option or another external service.

7. Data Security

We respect user privacy and aim to keep document handling safe. Files selected by the user are processed locally on the device. Users are responsible for keeping their device secure and for choosing trusted apps when sharing documents externally.

8. Children’s Privacy

NovaPDF Reader is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through the app, they may contact us so we can assist.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app or on the official privacy policy page. Continued use of the app after updates means the user accepts the revised policy.
