Information We Collect

SDA Hymns Offline does not require users to create an account.

The app does not collect personal information such as:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Contacts
  • Precise or approximate location
  • Photos or videos
  • Microphone recordings
  • Payment information
  • Device advertising identifiers

The app may store the following preferences locally on your device:

  • Favorite hymn numbers
  • Recently opened hymn numbers
  • Worship setlist hymn numbers
  • Dark mode preference
  • Reader text size
  • Reader style and page tone preferences
  • Onboarding completion status

This information is stored only to provide and personalize the app’s features.

How Information Is Used

Locally stored preferences are used to display your saved favorites, maintain your worship setlists, remember recently opened hymns, restore your reader settings, remember your display preferences, and avoid showing onboarding again after completion.

SDA Hymns Offline does not use this information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or marketing.

Data Sharing

SDA Hymns Offline does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information.

The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, third-party tracking technologies, or user profiling systems.

When you use the Share feature, Android opens the device’s system share sheet. The selected hymn text is shared only with the application, service, or contact you choose.

The developer does not receive a copy of the shared content.

Internet and Network Use

SDA Hymns Offline is designed to work without an internet connection.

An internet connection is not required for reading hymns, searching hymns, saving favorites, managing worship setlists, viewing recent hymns, completing onboarding, using Church Mode, or adjusting reader settings.

The app does not upload your favorites, recent hymns, setlists, or reader preferences to an external server.

Data Storage and Security

App preferences are stored locally using Android application storage.

Because SDA Hymns Offline does not operate an online account or cloud-storage system, the developer cannot access your locally stored favorites, recently opened hymns, worship setlists, reader preferences, or theme settings.

The security of locally stored data also depends on the security of your Android device.

Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored preferences remain on your device until they are removed.

You can delete the app’s local data by opening Android system settings, selecting Apps, choosing SDA Hymns Offline, opening Storage, and selecting Clear storage or Clear data.

Uninstalling the app will also remove its locally stored data, subject to Android backup and restoration settings.

SDA Hymns Offline does not create user accounts, so there is no separate account-deletion process.

Children’s Privacy

SDA Hymns Offline is a general hymnal and worship utility.

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

Because the app does not require an account and does not collect personal information, it does not maintain user profiles for children.

Third-Party Services

SDA Hymns Offline does not currently use advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud-storage, or account-management services provided by third parties.

If third-party services are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what information those services collect and how that information is used.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features, legal requirements, or data practices change.
